How does a personalized book with your child's photo work?
From a photo on your phone to a hardcover book in your child's hands.
Try it with my child's photo Free, no obligation
The idea is simple to describe but worth explaining clearly, because most personalized books on the market don't work this way — they have you build an avatar (hair color, skin tone, style) instead of using a real photo.
Here, step by step, is what happens between the moment you upload a photo and the day the book arrives.
Step 1 — the photo
You upload a photo where your child's face is clear and visible, ideally front-facing with good lighting. That's the only input the AI needs to learn their features.
Step 2 — the story and theme
You pick a story from our catalog of themes (adventure, animals, superheroes, and more). Your child's name and, depending on the story, a few personal details are woven into the text.
Step 3 — the AI illustrates the book
Starting from the photo, the AI generates illustrations for every page while keeping your child's real face consistent from image to image — whether the story has them flying, swimming, or exploring a forest.
Step 4 — free preview, then printing
Before any payment, you see a free preview: the cover and two story pages. If you're happy with it, you place your order — the book is then printed and shipped, or delivered instantly as a PDF if you chose the digital version.
FAQ
Does the book really look like my child, or just a little?
Really. The photo you upload is used as a direct reference for every illustration, and the free preview lets you check the likeness yourself before paying.
Do I need a special photo?
A clear, front-facing photo with good lighting and a visible face gives the best results. No professional photography needed — a phone photo works fine.
How long does digital creation take?
A few minutes between uploading the photo and seeing the preview of the cover and first pages.
What happens after the free preview?
If you confirm the order, the book is printed (hardcover or softcover) and shipped, or delivered instantly as a PDF for the digital version.
