How much does a personalized children's book actually cost?
The book price and the shipping fee, both shown before you reach the payment page — not a number that grows at the last step.

It's the question parents ask most, and the one personalized-book sites answer least clearly: the price on the product page isn't always the price you pay. A shipping fee that only appears at checkout is one of the most common complaints left by customers of competing sites.
Here is our full pricing, with nothing left out.
The price, from digital to hardcover
Three formats, three prices, and a shipping fee for printed copies:
- Digital version (PDF): £6.99, emailed in a few minutes.
- Softcover book: £25, plus £8.50 shipping.
- Hardcover book: £35, plus £3.99 shipping.
- First-book shipping is £3.99 for hardcover or £8.50 for softcover; each additional printed book adds £0.
What can be added — shown before you pay
An extra character (a sibling or a friend added to the story) costs £3.99. That's the only possible add-on, and it's always shown before you confirm your order, never discovered at the payment screen.
Published US price range
Published US competitor prices range from around $28 for entry offers up to roughly $49.99 for premium formats. Your selected market's hardcover and shipping total is £38.99. Our books use AI to illustrate your child's actual photo rather than an avatar built from a menu of options.

FAQ
Is the price shown the final price?
Yes. For printed books the shipping fee is shown next to the price before you confirm, so the total is known before the payment page: £25 for softcover or £35 for hardcover. First-book shipping is £3.99 for hardcover or £8.50 for softcover; each additional printed book adds £0.
Are there any hidden fees?
Only one possible add-on exists: £3.99 per extra character if you add a sibling or friend to the story. It's always shown before you pay, never after.
Why do some sites show a lower price?
Often because shipping only appears at the last step, or changes without warning. Ours is shown next to the book price from the start. First-book shipping is £3.99 for hardcover or £8.50 for softcover; each additional printed book adds £0.
What's the cheapest option?
The digital version (PDF), at £6.99, is our most affordable option, with the same story and illustrations delivered by email.
