The personalized book where your child keeps their real face
Not an avatar built from a hair-color and skin-tone menu — our AI illustrates your child from an actual photo, throughout a full story. Hardcover, printed and shipped to your door.
Create your child's book Free preview before you pay
Most personalized children's books on the market work with an avatar: you pick a hair color, a skin tone, a drawing style, and the book assembles a generic character wearing your child's name. It's never really them.
At Magical Book, you upload a photo. Our AI learns your child's actual face and illustrates them, page after page, as the hero of a complete story — not a character who looks a little like them, but them.
Your child's real face, not an avatar
This is the difference that changes everything: a child flipping through their book doesn't see a drawing that sort of resembles them — they recognize themselves. For parents, it's also the reassurance that you're not paying for a recolored template.
You stay in control of the result: before you pay anything, you see a free preview of the cover and two story pages, with your child's face already in them.
How the book gets made
Three steps, no software to install:
- Upload a clear photo of your child's face and pick a story from our catalog of themes.
- The AI illustrates every page in a few minutes, keeping the same face consistent from image to image.
- You review a free preview before confirming your order — nothing is charged until you've seen and approved the result.
A book built to be given as a gift
Hardcover is what most parents choose for a gift meant to last — a birthday, a holiday, a new sibling, or just to surprise a child on an ordinary day.
The price is shown in full before you pay: £35 for the hardcover. First-book shipping is £3.99 for hardcover or £8.50 for softcover; each additional printed book adds £0. Shipping fees that only appear at the last step are one of the most common complaints against personalized-book sites. Here you see the total before checkout.
