For a new baby, a personalized book can be prepared in two stages: as soon as the name is announced, with a story that already features it; then, once a clear photo of the baby's face is available, with their actual features illustrated in the story.
A gift that starts with the name
The baby's name is woven into the story text from the moment the book is created — a new-baby gift that already carries their mark, even before their face appears in it.
And their real face, as soon as you have a photo
Once a clear, front-facing, well-lit photo of the baby's face is available, the AI uses it to illustrate the pages with their actual features — the same process used for an older child.
Many families choose to wait a few weeks after the birth, long enough to get a clear photo, before giving a book that really shows the baby.
A keepsake, not a throwaway
Unlike a toy or an outfit, a personalized book gets kept: the hardcover, at £35 plus £3.99 shipping, is meant as an object that stays in the child's room long after the newborn stage.
FAQ
Can the book be ordered before there's even a photo of the baby?
The name can be woven into the story right away. Illustrating the face needs a clear photo of the baby — you can prepare the order as soon as one is available.
